Pastor Timothy A. Mentzer, Senior Pastor. Pastor Mentzer is a native of Newville, Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Shippensburg State University and Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. Having served parishes in Wadsworth and Warren, Ohio, Pastor Mentzer became the Senior Pastor of Trinity Church in May of 2008. An active member of the community, he serves on the boards of Crispus Attucks Community Center, and the MLK Scholarship Fund. In addition to those things, Pastor Mentzer is on the board for the Investment District, and is President of the Downtown Ministerium. He is married to the Reverend Constance L. With a Doctor of Musical Arts in Organ Performance from the University of Kansas, Dr. Horton holds a Master of Music in Organ from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in East Asian Studies from Cornell University. He was a Fulbright Scholar in Advanced Study in Performance and Organology at the Conservatoire National de Region in Toulouse, France. In the past, he served as the Director of Keyboard Studies at Dordt College, the Director of Music at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church in Evanston, IL, and was the Interim Chapel Organist for Duke Divinity School.
