We believe that the word of God, Jesus Christ, changes hearts and lives. We are devoted to breaking barriers between people through social outreach and by providing a nurturing environment that embraces all viewpoints in hearty discussions about faith.
Learn what to expectWe believe that every person has value. Unfortunately, life circumstances can become a stumbling block to a person living out the fullness of their lives. We follow Jesus' example of caring for those in need. This includes serving hands-on such as providing a hot breakfast each week. It can include building relationships between groups such as between police officers and children and youth who have a loved one in the criminal justice system. It includes being a vocal advocate for those whose voices don't get heard.
To participate in our learning opportunities is to take part in a robust conversation about faith and life. The opportunities include study of the Bible, of Christian Thought, and of practical ways to live out one's faith life. These opportunities also allow room to uplift and encourage one another as we grow in our faith lives.
Holy Trinity Church is a historical church that is still making history. At the heart of our congregation is the act of gathering together as God's people and hearing of God's presence in our lives. Our church has been that place where we have gathered since before the Revolutionary War and have heard God's promises to us.
Lutheran Theology is rooted in God's love for each of us. It speaks of a God that offers us grace and is with us in our daily lives.
At Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, we believe and teach that all we have is a Gift from God. As good stewards of these gifts, we share as we are able with sacrifice and gratitude.Through our generosity we can express our Love, Faith and Thanksgiving. As the Psalmist writes: "The Earth is the Lord's and everything in it." (Psalms 24.1)
