Holy Trinity: A Community of Caring
Word and sacrament, prayer and music, and all the elements of our worship together in a beautiful, historic sanctuary only begin to describe the church we call Holy Trinity. We come together as the church most visibly on Sunday mornings, but the "church" also happens quietly and steadily every day of the week in outreach and in-reach ministries, small group gatherings, educational opportunities, and service to others. As Jesus cared for the physical, emotional, and spiritual well being of others, so are we called to care for the overall health and well-being (mind, body and spirit) of our members and others. As the body of Christ in the world, the church is marked by the way it cares and by the way it renews itself as a community of faith.

Parish Health Ministries
“Promotes wholeness of body, mind and spirit, in order to build a healthy church with healthy members equipped to bear witness to the crucified and risen Christ.

The Health Ministries Cabinet offers monthly blood pressure screening as well as once a month health lectures on a variety of topics. A Lenten exercise program has been offered for a number of years. A parish nurse is available to assist members of the congregation under the auspices of the health ministries cabinet.

Holy Trinity Church is the spiritual heir of over two and one-half centuries of Christian witness in the Colony and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Originating a half-century before the Declaration of Independence, the congregation is the oldest in Lancaster and one of the oldest in Pennsylvania. The beautiful sanctuary stands today as one of America's front line colonial churches, historically and architecturally.
